Sea to Sky Gondola
Adventure Starts Here
The 10-minute ride to the top takes you 885m above sea level where sweeping of views of the Howe Sound and coastal mountains will welcome you from every direction. At the top, you’ll find three main viewing platforms: the southwestern-facing 5,000 square foot Summit Lodge Viewing Deck, the dramatic Chief Overlook Viewing Platform that jets out to overlook climbers on the backside of the Chief and the windsurfing and kiteboarding action at The Spit, and The Spirit Viewing Platform which includes interpretive information on the surrounding landscape and its significance to the Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) First Nations people.
In the winter, the Sea to Sky Gondola becomes a winter wonderland with access to over 3,000 acres of backcountry terrain and winter activities for every age and ability including front and backcountry skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and tubing, all topped off with après-adventure at the Summit Lodge.
